Action Shoot
We are open to the public!
Action Shoot is held monthly, usually on the 3rd Saturday of each month from April through October
Dates: 4-18-26 5-16-26 6-27-26 7-18-26 8-15-26 9-19-26 10-17-26
Event Times on 25-Yard & 50-Yard Ranges:
7:30am: Setup – Volunteers are encouraged to assist
8:30am: Registration / Sign-up begins
9:00am: Safety Briefing, followed by event startup
Fees:
Limit 2 runs per course of fire for each event
$ 5.00 – Action Handgun or Action Two-Gun per Run for Members
$10.00 – Action Handgun or Action Two-Gun per Run for Non-Members
FREE – Shooters under 18 yrs of age
Match Procedure
• All participants must sign a Release of Liability Waiver (one per year)
• Please be on time, if not early, in order to hear complete instructions for the day’s courses of fire and prevent delays for other shooters.
• Come early and help us set the courses.
• Every shooter will run the course of fire once per match fee.
• CCW holders: Please unload your carry gun at your vehicle before proceeding to sign-in.
• Exercise caution when readying all equipment before the event begins. Be sure to follow the event Rules and Regulations and ECCL's club rules as well as practical common sense.

Required Equipment:
Action Handgun
A semi-automatic pistol or revolver in safe operating condition.
A safe, strong side holster of good quality construction.
Holster must facilitate one-handed draw and re-holster.
Holster must be at least 50% rigid and encase the entire trigger guard of the pistol.
Shoulder holsters or holsters that orient the muzzle behind the shooter are not permitted.
Holsters with release mechanisms that utilize the shooters trigger finger to release (SERPA and similar) are not permitted.
At least 3 magazines or speed loaders.
At least 50rds of appropriate, safe ammunition.
No steel core or bimetal projectiles permitted for courses using steel targets.
A safe ammunition carrier of good quality construction.
Action Rifle
A semi-automatic rifle or carbine in safe operating condition (other actions may be used). Legally owned automatic firearms must be fired in semi-automatic mode only.
At least 3 magazines or loaders.
At least 50rds of appropriate, safe ammunition.
No steel core or bimetal projectiles permitted for courses using steel targets.
A two-point attachment sling that facilitates ambidextrous operation and that orients the muzzle in a safe direction when free hanging.
A safe, sturdy ammunition carrier of good quality construction.
An Open Chamber Indicator; aka Safety Flag, EIC, etc.
Action Two-Gun
All requirements listed above for Action Handgun and Action Rifle.
RANGE SAFETY OFFICERS WILL DETERMINE
THE APPROPRIATENESS AND SAFETY OF ALL EQUIPMENT AND HAS FINAL AUTHORITY
